Setup Checklist for VillaMotion REALTOR® Package

Ready to ease into the world of amazing do-it-yourself listing marketing? Please take a moment to configure your account and use this guide as a reference to getting the most out of VillaMotion.

Getting Started

1. Set up your Realtor profile

• Sign into your VillaMotion account at http://villamotion.com/login
• Select Realtors tab from menu.
• In Search / Create New Realtor box, type in your name as you would like it to appear, then click Create New button.
• Click Click here to continue...
• Type in your Email and Website addresses.
• The field titles for Office, Cell, and Fax are customizable. Change them to the types of phone numbers you wish to include, and enter the phone numbers.
• Click Update Information to save.
• For Profile Image, click Choose File. Select your headshot - a JPEG on your computer under 8MB in size.
• Click Upload Image to upload and save.
• For Profile Photo, click Choose File. Select your preferred logo - a JPEG on your computer under 8MB in size.
• Click Upload Image to upload and save.

Now your Realtor profile has been created! Unless you wish to change your Realtor information, Profile Image, or Profile Logo, you should not need to return to this page.

2. Set up your Community profiles

• Select Communities tab from menu.
• In Search / Create New Community box, type in your first community's name as you would like it to appear, then click Create New button.
• Click Click here to continue...
• In the description field, type or paste in a description about this community.
• Click Update Information to save.
• For Community Image, click Choose File. Select a photo of the community - a JPEG on your computer under 8MB in size.
• Click Upload Image to save.

Now your Community profile has been created! Repeat the steps for the communities you regularly serve. The VillaMotion system saves these communities and will integrate them into your virtual tour websites.

Create Your First Virtual Tour Website

1. Choose your Theme

• Select Themes tab from menu.
• Pick the theme you like most and click Activate.

This will be the theme used by all of your VillaMotion marketing materials. (Previews contain generic Realtor profiles and property listings.)

2. Set up a property

• Select Properties tab from menu.
• In Search / Create New Property box, type in the street address of your listing as you would like it to appear, then click Create New button.
• Click Click here to continue...
• Fill out the Property Information fields as you would like them to appear, then click Update Information to save.
• Please note that you must click Update Information before you can preview the Property Information. For best results, it is advisable to use all fields, including the two custom fields.
• For Upload Property Images, click Upload Images and select the property images from your computer.
• For Select Community, make sure the appropriate community is displayed and click Update Information to use this community's profile.
• For Select Realtor, make sure the appropriate Realtor is displayed and click Update Information to use this Realtor's profile.

Now your first virtual tour website has been created! It's time to take a look at the finished product and start sending your listing out to the world!

Unleash the Marketing Power of VillaMotion!

1. Check out your VillaMotion links

• In the Marketing This Property section, click on Branded Link, MLS Link, Copy & Paste, Small Widget, and Large Widget to view the links that the VillaMotion system has generated for you.

2. Share your listing with the world!

• In the Marketing This Property section, hover your mouse over the SHARE button and see the options to automatically syndicate your Branded Link to accounts you have set up in:
  • Email
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Linked In
  • Google Bookmarks
  • Digg
  • MySpace
  • Delicious
• While still hovering over the SHARE button, click the More option for approximately 200 websites where you can easily distribute your 'Branded Link," provided you have accounts set up with those services.
• Copy and paste your Branded Link to real estate websites like Zillow.
• Copy and paste your MLS Link into your Multiple Listing Service listing for this property.
• Select and copy the Copy & Paste code. Then click on the Craigslist link below it, sign into your Craigslist account, and set up a new posting. In the Posting Description box of your Craigslist ad, paste in the Copy & Paste code. Fill out the default Craigslist fields for price, number of bedrooms, posting title and specific location, then click 'Continue' to view the transformation of your ad.
• If you would like to post a widget for this property on your website, the code for a Small Widget and Large Widget are available. Copy and paste them in the same way that you would do so for the 'Embed' code of a YouTube video.
